This library holds 687 opinions from NSPE's Board of Ethical Review (BER), issued from 1958 to 2026. Each opinion applies the NSPE Code of Ethics to a set of facts and includes the board's discussion and conclusion. Many also cite earlier opinions, which are linked here.

Reading older opinions

Opinions issued before 1980 are provided for historical purposes and may no longer be valid under the current NSPE Code of Ethics. Cases marked revoked are posted solely for historical purposes and don't reflect NSPE positions, policies, or procedures.

Subject and Code section tags were added to cases from 1982 on, along with a few earlier ones. To find older opinions, search by keyword or browse by decade.
